Governance

NAMI Minnesota is governed by a board of directors, which is responsible for carrying out the organization’s mission and providing overall leadership and strategic direction to the organization. The board of directors actively sets policy and ensures that the organization has adequate resources to carry out its mission and provides direct oversight and direction for the executive director. The board is also responsible for the annual evaluation of the executive director as well as its own effectiveness as a governing body, as a group of volunteers, and as representatives of the community in upholding the public interest served by the corporation.
