NAMI Minnesota holds trainings in January to learn the legislative process and how to contact and engage your elected officials and candidates.

NAMI Minnesota works hard to educate candidates on our issues. You can help with this effort by attending town hall meetings and candidate forums and by asking candidates who knock on your door one simple question – “What are you going to do to continue to build our mental health system?”
