Tobacco is the leading cause of disease, disability and death in the United States. Addressing tobacco use can greatly improve the quality and length of life for individuals living with a mental illness. This interactive online training will provide education about nicotine addiction, special considerations for individuals living with a mental illness, and motivational interviewing techniques, along with other skills to help professionals addressing smoking cessation as part of a wellness plan.
