Join or Start a NAMI Affiliate

NAMI Minnesota and its local affiliates work to improve the lives of people who are living with mental illness and their families throughout Minnesota. NAMI Affiliates are created by groups of individuals who embrace the mission of NAMI and work to grow NAMI’s grassroots movement at the local level.

Most local affiliates meet on a monthly basis to share information, learn about issues related to mental illnesses, and advocate for the needs of people in their communities.

Use the map below to find your local affiliate. Since most affiliates are led by volunteers, please allow time for a response when contacting your local affiliate.

If there is not an affiliate in your area, contact or 651-645-2948 X118 to learn about how to start one.

NAMI on Campus

NAMI on Campus Clubs are peer-led, mental health awareness clubs on high school and college campuses. Student members raise awareness about mental health on their campuses, promote understanding and become advocates. NAMI on Campus Clubs are not support groups or therapy groups. Clubs are open to all students, faculty, and staff, regardless of their own experience with mental health or illness. For more information, or to start a NAMI on Campus Club, contact
