In Our Own Voice Speakers Share Recovery Stories

In Our Own Voice (IOOV), a free public education program featuring two speakers sharing their personal stories of living with a mental illness and achieving recovery, will be held on May 16, from 4:00-5:00 p.m., at R.H. Stafford Library, 8595 Central Park Place, in Woodbury, and on May 18, from 5:30-6:30 p.m., at Hardwood Creek Library, 19955 Forest Road N., in Forest Lake.

The program will also be held on May 20, from 5:30-6:30 p.m., at NAMI Minnesota, 1919 University Ave., Suite 400, in St. Paul. IOOV includes a short video and a question and answer period. NAMI Minnesota (National Alliance on Mental Illness) offers IOOV presentations around the state to improve public awareness of mental illnesses.
