Parent Resource Online Support Group Starts

NAMI Minnesota’s new online Parent Resource support group is the perfect solution for parents who cannot attend a group in person. No chat rooms or forums. You can talk live to real people from the comfort of your home. Use a computer, tablet, or smartphone to connect to your peers online.

The group starts October 18, and will meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. For more information, contact Jennie at

NAMI Minnesota Parent Resource support groups help parents discover resources to meet the challenges of raising a child with a mental illness, learn coping skills, and develop problem-solving skills. The groups are for parents and caregivers of children under age 18 living with a mental illness, and are facilitated by a parent who has a child with a mental illness and who has received specialized training.
