Study on Guided Imagery and Music to Treat Depression

A team of music therapy researchers is seeking adults with depression to participate in a study on Guided Imagery and Music, a specialized therapy approach in which specially selected classical music is used to support internal imagery, which the client and therapist work together to use in the client’s healing process.

All participants will be provided with Guided Imagery and Music sessions at no cost. No additional compensation is provided. To be eligible, you need to be at least 18 years old and have depression, rather than another illness such as bipolar disorder or schizophrenia. One of the sites for this study is in the St. Paul area. For information, call 302-285-9989 or email honigtj@appstate.edu.
