Super Saturday for Children’s Mental Health Awareness, Oct. 13

NAMI Minnesota will offer a series of free classes on Children’s Mental Health on Oct. 13.  This Super Saturday for Children’s Mental Health Awareness will be held at Prior Lake High School, 7575 150th Street West, in Savage.  Morning classes from 9:30-11:30 will include Recognizing Early Warning Signs, Understanding Early Episode Psychosis, Eating Disorders: How to Identify Them and Support A Loved One, and The Quest for Resiliency – Moving from Stressed Out to Chill. Afternoon classes from 12:30-2:30 will include Mental Health Crisis Planning for Families, Special Education: Helping Students Succeed, and Understanding the Children’s Mental Health System. Lunch, from 11:30-12:30, will be provided and resource tables will also be available during this time.
