NAMI Super Saturday for Children’s Mental Health, March 9

On Saturday, March 9th at Central High School in St. Paul, NAMI Minnesota will present a day of free classes to educate parents, caregivers, and professionals that provide resources on ways to help youth achieve physical and mental wellness. Morning classes will be held from 9 – 11 a.m. and include Mental Health Crisis Planning for Families, Sleep Health and Self-care, Trauma Informed Care, Understanding Early Episode Psychosis and Guardianship and Trusts. Afternoon classes will be held from 12 – 2 p.m. and include Special Education: Helping Students Succeed, Planificación para crisis de salud mental en niños, Introducción a la Salud Mental, Tools to Support Emotional Regulation and Anxiety in Children, and Understanding the Children’s Mental Health System.  Free lunch and educational materials will be available to all attendees.
